A Roman bronze head mount, is one of the necest artefacts we have copied. Nigel Mills in his book, Roman Artefacts Found in Britain states that ‘a considerable number of small heads have also been found which are mounts or appliques for vessels’ Our example is in supurb condition which shows a male head and shoulders whose hair is formed of incised lines. It measures approx 1.75 inches tall and is a very impressive reproduction.
