This coin must be one of the nicest Roman bronze coins we have on the list. It is an As of the emperor Claudius who ruled from 41 - 54 AD. The obverse shows the emperor, bare-headed facing left. The inscription reads: TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP PP.
The reverse shows Minerva advancing right holding a javelin in her right hand and a shield in her left hand with the letters S C.
