Another lovely repro, this time of the emperor Domitian who ruled from 81 - 96 AD.
This example is of an As and shows the emperors laureate head facing right. The inscription on the obverse reads: (IMP CAES) DOMIT AVG GERM - COS XVI CENS PERP. The IMP CAES DOMIT are not visible on our coin.
The reverse shows Fortuna standing left holding a rudder in her right hand and a cornucopiae in her left, with the inscription FORTVNAE - AVGVSTI.
