This is a reproduction of a silver denarius of the emperor Antoninus Pius, who ruled from AD 138 - 161. This is an unusual coin in that the reverse shows clasped hands holding a caduceus and corn-ears.
The obverse legend reads ‘ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP.
