This coin was silver-plated. It shows the head of Gordian III facing right with the legend IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG.
The reverse shows Apollo seated left holding a branch and resting his left arm on a lyre. The legend reads PM TR P VI COS II PP. It is Sear 2455.
