This coin used the same die as No 627, the aureus of Balbinus. It has been produced from two plaster casts and is therefore thicker than the original. This coin shows the bust of Balbinus facing right with the legend ‘IMP CD CAEL BALBINVS AVG’.
The reverse shows Victory facing with head facing left. It has the legend ‘VICTORIA AVGG’
