This lovely little Roman silver siliqua dates to AD 364-378 and was minted during the reign of Valens, the younger brother of Valentinian I. The obverse shows Valens facing right. The legend reads D N VALENS P F AVG.
The reverse shows Roma seated left holding Victory and a sceptre. The reverse legend reads VRBS ROMA. In the exergue is TRPS. It is Seaby 4113
