This is a bit of a mule in that the Obverse side reads EOTBERETVF with a central cross.
The Reverse shows a design reputed to be St Cuthbert's Cross a design that was on one of the very earliest sceats and that of Aethelred I.
For this edition we have a obverse that is attributed to Ecgberht but still an unusual mix.
Made from a modern die cut by a master craftsman to represent this type and hand struck from pewter.
