Despite coming to the throne in 1306 Robert The Bruce did not mint any coins until late in 1319 and then only for 10 years. No privy marks are noted but it is likely that all were struck in Berwick on Tweed after its capture. All nominations i.e. penny, halfpenny and farthing are classed as rare.
The Obverse legend reads: ROBERTVS:DEL:GRAI (Robert by the Grace of God)
The Reverse Legend reads: +SCOTOREV REX meant to be (King of the Scots)
