Elizabeth I Chichester Halfpenny Conder token featuring Queen Elizabeth I. These tokens were often minted for specific merchants, with some bearing the edge inscription "Payable at Dalleys Chicester" which this one does. These were issued because there was a shortage of official small change in that period.
The Obverse depicts Queen Elizabeth I whilst the reverse shows the Chichester High Cross.
