Trinovantes silver Stater. This Celtic silver unit or stater was minted by the Trinovantes tribe between the years 10 BC and10 AD/ The obverse shows DIAS in a box with C above 0 below, all within two interlaced squares. The reverse shows a Roman style horse with beaded mane galloping left with an upturned crescent moon above. The letters VIR are below the horse. Van Arsdell 1877-1.
