The original was minted by the Bellovaci tribe in Gaul about 125-100 BC.
The coin shows the draped bust of a goddess facing lefgt with thre crescents around moon-shaped face. The reverse shows a horse facing left, stylised charioteer above with rosette below. Van Arsdell 12-1 variant. This coin was in a Good VF condition and the copy reflects this. It can only be desribed as a splendid specimen.
