This coin dates to the first quarter of the 7th centuryand was minted near Toulouse, in modern-day France.
It shows on the obverse a Roman style helmeted head facing right and the words CANA.
The reverse shows cross-on-globule on base line with geometric design below, possibly steps. Pellet-centred annulets to either side and probable pseudo-legend around.
