Anglo Scandinavian Bridle Bit. On stylistic grounds it appears to be related to the Viking Urnes style and dates to the 11th Century.
Anglo-Saxon Bridle Bit. Probably dates to the early part of the 11th century and is Viking in origin. We have been informed that this bit is typical of the period and is often found in conjunction with a late phase of Viking art known as ‘Ringerike style’. Our bit shows a stylised animal head.
