Made from a modern die cut by a master craftsman to represent this type and hand struck from pewter. The die maker has used the name Grunal as the moneyer on the coin.
On the obverse it shows portrait of Elizabeth I facing left with inscription ELIZABETH * D*G*ANG*FRA*ET*HIBREGINA
The reverse shows Shield with arms (passant lions and fleurs-de-lis), long cross behind with inscription
