The coins of George I have the arms of the Duchy of Brunswick and Luneberg on one of the four shields, the object in the centre being the crown of Charlemagne. The King's German titles also appear, in abbreviated form, and name him, "Duke of Brunswick and Luneberg, Arch-Treasurer of the Holy Roman Empire, and Elector"
