This coin is more commonly known as a North East Coast Stater. This can be seen as Seaby 27, Mack 52-57 or van Arsdell 804, 805 or 807. The coin dates between 75-30 BC. It shows the crude head of Apollo on the obverse whilst the reverse shows a horse facing left with pellets above with curved rays below the horse. A rosette is at the rear of horse.
