This wonderful gold stater is book priced at £1500. It was minted by the Attrebates and Regni tribes who ranged through Berks, Hants, Surrey and Sussex. It was minted by Epaticcus circa AD 35-42.
The obverse shows a ear of wheat with the legend TASCIF. The reverse shows a horseman facing right with the legend EPATICCV. It is VA 575.
