This is a silver stater of a type known as ‘Ladderhead, Lazy E’. It was struck by the
Attrebates tribe. It dates to about 50-40BC.
The coin is a silver unit showing a ‘ladderhead’ facing left on the obverse. The reverse shows a horse left with an ‘E’ symbol above. It is VA 355-3.
