This is a beautiful example of a 14th/15th century vessica seal made of copper-alloy. It shows a rampant lion with the words ‘HENRI DE RIDALE’ around. We are unsure as to whether the owner lived in Ridale, Yorks or Ridale, Derbyshire. Research is on-going on this piece. It is in excellent condition
