This is another extremely rare gold quarter stater of which only six others are known. It is unrecorded in any of the major catalogues like Van Arsdell, British Museum Catalogue or Spink.
It is an uninscribed Kentish type ‘Double Torc’ quarter stater of the Cantii, probably dating from 30-40 BC.
